What did they do before there were photographs? Thats a big question! I can't imagine what life woud be like without "Photography". Oh, I hate to have my picture taken, it's a self awareness thing, I guess. I seldom take pictures of people for that same reason, they may not like the way I see them. So I photograph flowers, I have yet to get a complaint. In fact I have begun to play with their images, something you shouldn't do with human pictures, if you can help yourself..
I take the most beautiful part of the flower and, using my computer, work the rich color and deep shadows into something that express' a totally different life form. I'm sure the flower, upon seeing it says something like,"Oh, I always wanted to be one of those, what is it?" Then we laugh, and I take another section of the flower and do something else equally as wild. I know this all sounds so crazy to you, but they tell me that if I keep taking my pills, without crying, they'll let me out of here and into the real and ugly world I hear so much about. Oh, here comes the pills, I think I'll cry.
Problems and intentions:
It has been a great struggle to say the least. I now have two Blogs (would plural be with two 'g's) and can't find either of them. ://Wendlebe.blogspot.com/ and ://BillGorgus.blogspot.com/
Now about "Wendlebe"; well that's Oliver Wendlebe, 'Oly' for short, he is a fictional character I have been working with for the past little bit. Like in Alice in Wonderland my friend tends to be a wee bit odd, but from time to time, he becomes as sound as a dollar, much like myself. So my hope is that "Windfall" http://wendlebe.blogspot.com/2010/09/windfall.html will become a place of sharing wild and amazingly unusial tales. some of which will be absolutely true, and that will be for the readers to deside for themselves.
Then, if you should ever be given passage to BillGorgus/Phorotrapher, (which obviously you have by now) you will see that the derangenment spreads, There I hope to, should I ever be able to find the spot myself, show you how I play with the little flowers. (that's a bit strange sounding I guess, but the pictures are considered to be"Abstract"). In Quanitum Physics they say that something isn't, until it is looked at. So the next time you see a flower, look at it, I mean REALLY look at it. It could suprise you. Reality is stranger than fiction.
Strange, in a funny kind of way, I looked at that address above, "BillGorgus/Photographer, and had to laugh out loud, as I had written a play not long ago entitled Peter Gage/Photographer. But then, we are nothing alike... at least I don't think we are... are we Peter?
